Strawberry Sheet Pan Cake (just like the pink DD donut)
Ingredients:
Box of yellow or white cake
1 stick salted butter, room temperature
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
2-0.75 oz packages of freeze dried strawberries
Sprinkles
Preheat oven according to box cake directions.
Spray half sheet pan (18x13) with cooking spray.
Make cake according to directions on box.
Pour batter into half sheet pan, cook according to directions.
Grind freeze dried strawberries using coffee grinder or food processor to fine texture.
Add 8 oz cream cheese and 1 stick salted butter to mixing bowl or medium bowl (if using metal beaters).
Mix until light and fluffy 3-4 minutes.
Slowly add 2 cups powdered sugar into cream cheese butter mixture.
Slowly add ground strawberries until you get to color/taste of your liking.
Let cake cool. Ice cake. Add sprinkles if desired!
